Picture: from Psi Chi’s 2nd Annual Induction Ceremony (March 2013)

I am a tenure-track Instructor I in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. My professional focus is promoting high quality undergraduate education and innovative, meaningful service to the Psychology Department and the greater university. While I do engage in research activities related to program evaluation, I do not work with graduate students or post-docs.

On a personal note, I have been happily married for nearly five years and my wife and I have two beautiful children. They are twins and they will turn two in August 2013.

Please feel free to navigate the menus above to learn more about who I am and what I do here at UBC.

Exciting update:

I am very pleased to report that I was selected as a recipient of the 2012-13 Killam Teaching Prize. This is UBC’s highest form of recognition for excellence in teaching.
