I am a tenure-track Instructor I in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. My professional focus is promoting high quality undergraduate education and innovative, meaningful service to the Psychology Department and the greater university. While I do engage in research activities related to program evaluation, I do not work with graduate students or post-docs.

On a personal note, I have two fantastic children (twins) and they turned two in August 2013.

Please feel free to navigate the menus above to learn more about who I am and what I do here at UBC.

Exciting updates (Sept 2013):

I am proud to be the recipient of three teaching awards this year:

(1) UBC Killam Teaching Prize (the university’s highest form of recognition for outstanding teaching)

(2) UBC Psychology’s “Knox Master Teacher” award (the department’s highest form of recognition for outstanding teaching)

(3) Kappa Alpha Theta’s “Top 10 Outstanding Faculty” award (for inspiring students, from 110 nominations across Canada/US).
